Edward was my father Joseph's fraternal twin brother. He was born in Bay Shore, New York and live on Long Island, in Suffolk County his entire life. He was called Ted by all those who knew him.

He married a widow named Tippy who bought a young daughter named Catherine to the marriage. Ted and Tippy had two sons, Michael and Timothy.

Ted struggled for many years with alcoholism. After periods of sobriety he would relapse. Because of his problems due to his addiction he was seperated from his wife and children. Unfortunately Ted died due to alcohol induced problems. My father told us that Ted drank himself to death.

I remember my Uncle Ted being a funny guy with a head full of curly red hair.

To all those who walked the hard miles but did not make it. You’re never forgotten.

I would like to thank Marvin & Samme Templin for creating this memorial.
