From an unnamed and undated article located in the Lamar County Genealogical Society Library, in the Taylor Collection, Box M.19-Year-Old Woman Falls From Pick-up, Receives Fatal Injury A 19-year-old woman was fatally injured Tuesday when she fell from a moving vehicle. Sheriff's deputies said the accident occurred about 10 a.m. in the Toco community. The victim, Tina Mischelle Miller, 19, 1315 E. Sherman, was riding in the rear of a 1984 Ford pickup truck driven by her mother, reports said. Ms. Miller was taken by ambulance to McCuistion Regional Medical Center about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 30, in Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Ralph Taylor will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born March 4, 1968, in Paris, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Miller.* Surviving are her parents; her grandparents, Gertha French of Paris and Linnie Miller of Paris; a brother, Jackie G. Miller of Paris; and a son, Jason Miller of Paris.** She was preceded in death by a brother, Tracy Miller, in Oct. 1976.***
