Born November 11,1886, the son of Maria Agnes McGovern and an unknown biological father. Howard Lacey Guy married Maria McGovern in 1892 and raised Edward as his son. Edward never married. The last year of his life was spent living at the home of William Elmer and Sarah Guy (his sister) Sowden, 5 South Clifton Avenue, Brack-Ex, Delaware. He died August 8, 1948 of Rectal Cancer.
