Funeral Held Saturday for Mrs. Whitmore
Rites were held Saturday in the First Christian church for Mrs. Parlee Whitmore, 54, who died Thursday night in a local hosipital after an illness of several months. Rev. Roy V. Harp officiated with burial in the Duncan cemetery under direction of the Beeson Grantham Funeral home.
She had been living with her daughter, Mrs. Opal Marie McPherson 308 North 13th. Besides the daughter survivors include a son, Marcell Bolles, 407 North 13th; four brothers including Robert England of Marlow; two sisters, and two grandchildren.
