FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. | Jacquelyn Oriana Bethea-Cox, 31, of Fayetteville, N.C., beloved wife, daughter, and sister, passed away, January 27, 2009 at home.
She was born March 24,1977 to Andrew David Bethea and Jeannene Watkins Bethea.
Oriana graduated from North Myrtle Beach High School in 1995 and then went on to serve as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, U.S. Army. She then went on to earn her RN at Fayetteville Technical Community College and was serving at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, N.C.
Along with her parents; she leaves behind her husband, Marcus B. Cox of Fayetteville N.C.; two sisters, Andrea and Amberlee Bethea, of Little River Neck; and lots of loving and caring aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of Oriana's life will be held 4 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2009 at her childhood home of 1376 Harrelson Avenue, North Myrtle Beach, which will be officiated by a close family friend Preacher Kenney.
A graveside service will be held January 31, 2009 where she will be put to rest with her grandmother, grandfather, and uncle at Alford Cemetery in Little Rock, S.C., time to be announced.
