Bernetha S. Adams, 66, of Lititz R1, died at 5:10 P.m. Wednesday at Lancaster General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of iIa W. Adams.
Born in Rothsville, she was a daughter of the late Galen and Catherine Martin Shreiner. She lived in Lititz area all her life and was employed at the A.J. Badorf Shoe Co. Lititz for 19 years until her retirement in 1972. She was a member of the Ephrata Church of the Brethren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by these children. Virginia, wife of Edward DeVeaux, Lititz R1. Donald E. Columbia R1, Ronald R. Lititz, Bonita, wife of Carl Connelly, and Sandra, wife of Larry Diffenderfer, both of Manheim; James S. Rothsville, Kenneth I. at home, and Thomas R. Adams, Lititz R1; 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Also surviving are these brother and sisters. Mrs. Arthur Smith, Akron, Galen Shreiner Jr. Vernon Shreiner and Mrs. Carl Shenk, all of Lititz.
