SYLVANIA -- Otis Brinson Altman, 90, died Jan. 18 at Screven County Hospital.
He was born in Coffee County and reared in Bulloch County. He was a retired lumberman. He was a member of Sylvania First Baptist Church, a Sunday school secretary, a deacon for 50 years and sang in the choir for many years. He was a member of the Rotary Club and the Coachman Camping Club. He was the widower of Ulma White Altman.
SURVIVORS: two daughters, Ann Altman Duncan of Harlem and Linda Altman Widdowson of Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren, Ray Widdowson of Jacksonville and Julie Widdowson Dorough of Warner Robins; and three great-grandchildren, Clay Widdowson of Jacksonville and Holly Ann Dorough and John Michael Dorough, both of Warner Robins.
VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.
