Richard G. Belliveau, of 2903 E. 9th St., Lehigh Acres, Fla., formerly of Horseplain Road, New Britain, died unexpectedly Sept. 22, 1995. He was born in New Britain, and had been a resident of Florida for the past five years. He had formerly been employed by the Stanley Works for 18 years, and by Stanley Works Cold Metal Products Division, and had also managed the Stanley Shoe Store. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the World Apostolate of Fatim a, and an Emissary of Our Lady. He was a former member of the Catholic War Veterans Crusader Post No. 981. He is survived by his wife, Arlene A. (Doucette) Belliveau; two sons, Richard A. Belliveau of Bristol, and David G. Belliveau of New Britain; two daughters, Kimberly Doyle of East Haddam, and Susan Luiz of Wethersfield; four brothers, Donald Belliveau of Lehigh Acres, Fla., Armand, and Raynold Belliveau, both of New Britain, and Edward Belliveau of Southington; three sisters, Pauline Rocco of New Britain, Carol Nesko of Newington, and Jeanette Belliveau of Hartford; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 28, 1995, 9:15 a.m., at the New Britain Memorial Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., 10 a.m. , at St. Jerome's Church. Burial, with military honors, will be in State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. Calling hours are today, 6-9 p.m., at the funeral home.
