MARTHA ELSIE FISCHER

Martha Elsie Fischer, age 82, of Stuttgart died Sunday at her home.

She was born Sept. 8, 1919 in Stuttgart, a daughter of the late Emil Miller and Carolyn Louise Blohm Miller. She was the widow of Louis Martin Fischer, a homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers and three grandchildren.

Survivors are one son, Robert Fischer and wife Linda of Stuttgart; one daughter, Linda Corley and husband James of Stuttgart; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church by the Rev. David Riley with burial in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday evening. The family will be at the home of Robert Fischer, 904 S. Porter St. in Stuttgart.

The family suggests memorials be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church, the Organ Fund at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, The Stuttgart Public Library or the Arts Center of the Grand Prairie.
