P. BOMMERSBACH LAST RITES HELD

Funeral services were held on Monday in St. Philip's Catholic Church for Peter J. Bommersbach, 51, of Hankinson, who died suddenly Thursday morning.

Funeral Mass was conducted by Rev. Fr. Bierens and interment was made in Calvary Cemetery. Six brothers were pallbearers. The Wipperman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements

Peter J. (Pete) Bommersbach was born at Hankinson, Nov. 24th, 1907, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Bommersbach. He attended school in the Hankinson vicinity and grew to manhood there. He and Selma Medenwaldt were united in marriage on Nov. 29th, 1935. They resided on a farm north of Hankinson until the fall of 1955 when they moved to Hankinson to operate the Corner Grocery. Mr. Bommersbach was well known in the community, having been active in church and civic affairs.

Surviving are his wife and parents; four sisters, Mrs. Ben (Catherine) Herding of Wahpeton, Mrs. Howard (Ann) Michie, Mrs. Amos (Betty) Meland and Mrs. Charles (Rosalie) Darner all of Chicago, IL.; six brothers, John, Frank, Anton and Joe, all of Hankinson, Ralph of Moorhead and Adam of Fargo.

Two sisters, Mrs. Carl (Mary) Rettig and Margaret Bommersbach preceded him in death.
