Birth: May 24, 1833
Virginia, USA
Death: Oct. 8, 1918
Preble County
Ohio, USA

Reportedly, the d/o Daniel L. Porter and Bessie or Elizabeth King Porter of Wythe, Virginia.

Margaret and George were married in 1853. Together they had seven (currently known) children: Elizabeth Jane, Ira Curtis (Iry), Mitchell B., Samuel R., Sarah P., James Shelby (Shelly), Stephen G. (Oscar).

The following information comes from FAG Contributor #47685970: Margaret's currently known siblings: Brother: Kenny Ballard Porter, FAG # 44967663; sister, Alcester C. Porter, FAG # 43596725; and another sister: Frances Ann Porter Grinnel, # 81748361. If/when Margaret's parents' graves are located, we can reunite them.
