Thomas passed away at his home 420 W 17th St. on Sunday according to the Kansas City Times, Monday newspaper for September 24, 1945. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Ann of the home, 1 son Thomas J. of the U.S. Army & 5 daughters: Mrs. E.J. Moore, Mrs. Barbara Knipp, Mrs. Freda Steinmets, Mrs. Dollvena Anderson, Mrs. Elsie Mullins & 5 grandchildren. (Thomas's death certificate differs on his place of birth stating it was Manchester, England).
