Enlisted In the CSA (Confederate States of America) at age 32, Enlistment date was 13th August 1862 at Lake City, Florida. He muster that same date. He enlisted as the rank of a Private. He Enlisted with Company B, 2nd Battalion Infantry. He was wounded at Cold Harbor, Virginia, 3rd June 1864, he lost 4 fingers on his right hand. He Muster out on 25th of July 1864. Occupation Carpenter.
