Vivian Ruth Brown, age 70, of NHC Health Care, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, in the Johnson City Medical Center.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and a daughter of the late William T. and Mae Queen Hart Brown.
Ms. Brown was a member of Tacoma Church of God. She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Survivors include one sister, Patricia Brown, Johnson City; one nephew, Edwin Peters, Jonesborough; one great-nephew, Charlie Peters, Jonesborough; and one aunt, Anita Taylor, Elizabethton.
Morris-Baker Funeral Home (282-1521), 2001 Oakland Avenue, Johnson City, is in charge of arrangements.
BROWN -- Funeral services for Vivian Ruth Brown, age 70, of NHC Health Care, who died Thursday, were conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday from the Morris-Baker North Chapel. The Rev. Dave Shorter officiated. Burial followed services in Monte Vista Burial Park. Pallbearers were selected from family and friends. The family received friends at the funeral home from 2-3 p.m. Saturday.
