Brita Christina BERGDAHL married Lars Larson about 1886 in Jamtland Sweden. She and her husband moved several times within Hallen parish. They moved to Alsen parish two years before the Ostwall's joined them (her sister Margarta and her husband John) . They came to America with the Ostwall's.

Sharon Larson Gardner wrote on July 17, 1979: I can add a litle information on Brita Christina Bergdahl. She died Oct. 31, 1946. She was buried Nov. 4, 1946, 2:00 p.m.,in the Norway Twsp Cemetery. She had one adopted son, Olof (my Grandfather). Olof's real mother was Carolina Bergdahl. All of the information I have cames from Brita's Bible."

Obituary of the Norway News, Sat. Nov. 2, 1946: MRS. BRITA LARSON Mrs. Brita Larson, 86, an inmate of the county infirmary for the last nine years, died Thursday night. A resident of Norway from 1901 until 1937, when she went to the infirmary, Mrs. Larson was born March 14, 1860, in Jamtland, Sweden. The only survivor is a sister, Mrs. Margaret Ostwall, Norway. Services will be held at 2 Monday at the David A. Asp Memorial Funeral Home, the Rev. Frank May officiating. Burial will be in the Norway Cemetery.

Four of the Bergdahl sisters came to Michigan. In addition to Margeret (my grandmother) they were:
Christina Bergvall Erickson (1867-1927) # 54449366
and Hanna Ulrica Bergdahl. Hanna was married in 1896 to August Norman; in 1907 to John Swanberg; in 1920 census shows married to John Johnson; and 1940 census to Otto Riddenberg. Died 1975 in Detroit Michigan.
