Rosemary is the daughter of Albert and Veronica (Milbocker) Hodgkinson.

Siblings: Frederick, William

Spouse: Never married

Rosemary was a gifted woman whose career began in her teens, working as a teller at Pioneer State Bank, North Branch, Michigan. She chose to remain single and self-supportive her entire life. Upon leaving her parents' Barnes Road farm and home, she secured office employment and remained in that field until retirement. She made her home in Caro, Michigan, where she proved an invaluable asset to the same insurance company for many years. After retirement, she returned to her childhood home and lived with her father, Albert, until his death, in 1985. She died 3 years later, due to respiratory and heart problems.

It would be difficult to find anyone who didn't like her. Always smiling and upbeat, she made friends easily and is sorely missed by all who knew her.

Her funeral was held at 10am, Friday, May 6, 1988, at Sts Peter & Paul Catholic Church, North Branch; Fr Jude Ellinghausen officiating. Blackburn Funeral Home, North Branch, handled arrangements.

"WE LOVED HER IN LIFE; LET US NOT FORGET HER IN DEATH."
