Daughter of Noah & Mary (Brammer) Siddall, immigrated from England, landing at the Port of Philadelphia on 8 Nov 1909 with her mother and brother, John, with final destination to meet maternal uncle, John Brammer, in East Liverpool, Ohio. Married Eldon C. Smith about 1930-1931. Two children. Married Clarence E. Bowersock on 14 Feb 1942 in Columbiana county, Ohio.

Services will be held Monday for Gladys M. Bowersock, 89, of East Fourth Street, who died at 11:34 a.m. Friday Dec. 15, 1995 at the City Hospital following a brief illness..

She was born in Tunstall, England, Oct. 26, 1906, a daughter of the late Noah Siddall and Mary Ellen Siddall..

She lived most of her life in East Liverpool..

She was a member of the First Church of Christ Disciples and a member of the East Liverpool Area Senior Citizens..

Her husband Clarence "Bill" Bowersock, whom he married Feb. 14, 1942, died Jan 6, 1987. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Vonnie Swearingen; and a brother, John Siddall..

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Norma) Chettle of Florida, Mrs. John (Judy) Maola of East Liverpool, Mrs. Richard (Marjorie) Strong of Hanoverton, Mrs. Roger (Sherry) Faulk of Lisbon and Mrs. Larry (Sue) Roberts of Salem; four sons, Richard Bowersock of Negley, Gary Bowersock and James Bowersock of West Point and William Bowersock of Lisbon; 30 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter..

Pastor Charles Wickizer of the church will conduct at 11 a.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park..

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. The Area Senior Citizens will conduct services at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
