Harold Holger Nelson, 62, Exira Farmer, died at 6:50 Monday evening at the Atlantic Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient since Aug. 19.
Mr. Nelson was born in Broderslev, Denmark Oct. 8, 1900, the son of Nels B. and Karen Andersen Nelson and had lived in the Brayton and Exira vicinities since coming to the United States with his parents in 1905. He was baptized in the Lutheran church.
Surviving are two brothers Lars Nelson of Wiota and Ted Nelson of Brayton; one sister Mrs. Elna Crisman of Anita and several nephews and nieces. He was proceeded in death by a brother, Thorvald Nelson, Sept. 1, 1951 and a sister Rica Nelson, June 2, 1947.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the Roland Funeral Home, the Rev. Lester Pearson of the Exira Christian church officiating. Interment will be in the Atlantic cemetery.
