OBITUARY - from Altoona Mirror August 31, 1937 page 10 - WELL KNOWN FARMER DIES. NICKTOWN, Aug. 31. — Herman C. Ager, aged 53, well known farmer of Barr township, died in Miners hospital, Spangler, Saturday morning. He was admitted to the hospital a few days before his demise. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Margaret Ager, one of the oldest residents of Nicktown; Mrs. Evelyn (Ragley) Ager, his widow; Sister Mary Bertmans of St. Paul's convent, Butler, Clement, Ruth, Clair, Lenore, Stanton and Delrose Ager, children, all at home. Surviving sisters and brothers are Harry Ager of Carrolltown, Mrs. Amelia Kirsch of Nicktown, Mrs. Laura Lehman of Clearfield and Mrs. Adelaide Mulvehill of Johnstown.
