in the Town of Forest, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, and buried in the
Forest Cemetery. He married Friederika Augusta Kolbe on March 25, 1866, at
St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, in the Town of Forest, Fond du Lac
County, Wis. The church is located approximately 10 miles east of the city
of Fond du Lac on Highway #23 that was referred to as the Plank Road in the
early part of the 20th Century as it was made of wooden planks.

survived by four brothers, Henry, Jacob, Joseph and George, and by five grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at St. Paul's church in Forest, Rev. Hensel officiating.
Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
