Margaret was married three times, so her full name is Margaret Weed Young Creswell Crawford. She had three sons, one by each husband. First husband Abner Perrin Young was killed in the Civil War, at Manassas.
Appearing in Greenwood Index, September 5, 1907:
While Mrs. Robert Crawford, beloved wife of Mr. Robert Crawford, who lives three miles from here (Troy) was in her lot attending the milking of her cows, she was without a word claimed as a saint in the great beyond. She had been visiting that afternoon and was as well as usual, tho she had an attack a week ago similar to the one from which she died. She was known and beloved by everyone. "None knew her but to love her, and none named her but to praise." She was the daughter of the late Mr. Andrew Weed of precious memory, and leaves two sisters, Mrs. Sara Bickett of Milani County, Texas, and Mrs. Mary Drennan, of this place, and three sons, Mr. Andy Young, Mr. T.P. Cresswell and Mr. J. W. Crawford, whose grief seems almost beyond control, besides a lonely and crushed husband who have much sympathy. Her pastor, Rev. R. F. Bradley, said in her burial service (and he has known her since he was a child)that he didn't for one moment doubt her safety in heaven. She was buried in Long Cane Cemetery. "In the Christian's home in Glory, there remains a land of rest."
