Eugene W. Diehl, 77, of the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, formerly of West Fairview, died Thursday in Mercy Hospital, Altoona.
He was retired from the former Penn Central Railroad, was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the Transportation Communications International Union.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Graff Diehl, and a daughter, Karen L. Gaidos, both of Marysville and a grandson.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Stone Church Cemetery, Silver Spring Twp.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville, is handling arrangements.
