Philomena "Fannie" Adaskaveg, 79, of Coolidge St., Southington died Friday (June 27, 2003) at Bradley Memorial Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of Alexander Adaskaveg. Born in Southington on Sept. 22, 1923 the daughter of the late Luigi and Maria Carmena (Tranquillo) Venditto.

She was a lifelong resident of Southington. Prior to her retirement 20 years ago, she was employed by the Southington Board of Education, Mrs. Adaskaveg was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church and was a former active member and secretary of St. Rita's Circle. She had volunteered at the Alzheimer's Resource Center and the Soup Kitchen at St. Paul's.

In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Ann Adaskaveg of Hampton, NH, Alex and Deborah Adaskaveg of Southington, and James and Margaret Adaskaveg of Riverside, CA; nine grandchildren, Corina, Austin, Ashley, Cole, Paige, Allison, Adam, Amy and Jaclyn; a sister, Ann Leahy of Southington; and several nieces and nephews.
