William L. Aseniero, 88, died October 30, 2012 in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

He was born on June 22, 1924 in Denver, Colorado to Luis Daniel Aseniero and Ester Louise Row Aseniero.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

He lived in Denver, Alamosa, and Boulder City in Colorado. He moved to Wichita, Kansas and later to Exton and West Chester, Pennsylvania.

He is survived by daughters Karen MacSweeney (Mrs. Leo MacSweeney) of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Diane Louise Strasser (Mrs. John Strasser) of Columbus, Ohio, Sara Kay Blackmon (Mrs. Scott Blackmon) of Wichita, Kansas, and Beth Charlotte Fay (Mrs Thomas John Fay) of Chester, Pennsylvania.,

He is also survived by grandchildren Michele Julie MacSweney, Joe Strasser, Mike Strasser, William Strasser, India Blackmon, Jason Blackmon, Amy K. Blackmon, Brian Anthony Fay, Melissa Eleanor Fay and Heather Marie Fay.

Also surviving him are nephews Sherwood T. "Woody" Turner and David Turner both of Denver Colorado, Lloyd Irvin Taylor of San Diego, California, and niece Sharon Kay Taylor of Branson, Missouri.

He was predeceased by his parents and niece Beverly Ann Turner Schoenberg (Mrs. Eugene R. Schoenberg) of Arvada, Colorado.

His ashes will be scattered July 4, 2013 in the valley at the base of Irapahoe Peak, Boulder, Colorado.

Aseniero, William L., 88, was released from his tired body to the gracious Hands of God at 9:10 a.m., October 30, 2012. He passed in West Chester, PA where he moved close to youngest daughter Beth a year before passing. His body was exhausted yet his mind remained strong. The past year, William was working on a paper Gravity Zero and Free Fall. He was always a wonderful source of information and a man of grace. His interests included IEEE, gardening, astronomy, politics. He served as Judge of Elections in Chester County PA in l960's. William was born January 22, 1924 in Denver CO to Luis Daniel Aseniero and Esther Louise Row Aseniero. Graduated from University of Colorado, Boulder, tied for top of the class, with a degree in electrical engineering. He served in the Navy during WWII in the midst of his college career. Bill married his sweet wife Laura Mae Bagley Aseniero in 1948. They moved with their first daughter to NY when he accepted a job with General Electric. They moved to PA , CA, back to PA and then to Wichita when he took a job in aeronautics with Boeing. Laura passed in 1999 after their 50th anniversary. William worked as an aerospace engineer on our country's early rocketry, and including the Apollo and Gemini projects. An active member of the IEEE, he volunteered his work to spend time with students at Wichita State with their science projects. He also volunteered to help out at his church with the summer camp for children. Survived by daughter Karen Aseniero (Domingo Munoz) of PR, Diane Strasser (John) OH, Sara Blackmon (Scott) KS, and Beth Fay (Thomas John) PA. Also by granddaughter Michele Buffington (Frank) AL and their little boy Will. Also grandsons Joseph Strasser (OH), Michael Strasser (CO) William Strasser (OH) and greatgrandson Owen (OH.) Also grandson Jason Aseniero (Amy) and their children India, Liam, and Camille of Wichita. Also Brian Fay, Melissa Fay, and Heather Fay (FL.) Bill was also survived by several dozen beloved nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Betty Jane Johnson (NM) and brother-and-sister-in law Fred and Lucy Bagley (WI.) Memorial service to be held in Spring 2013 at the Fourth of July Valley, bottom of Arapaho Peak, just outside Boulder. Special thanks to Dave and Connie Turner and Woody and Elaine Turner for their friendly visits and also to good Wichita friends, John Wilson, Bryan Robinson, and Jean Galbert.
