Bright Samuel Enterline was the third child born to Thomas Edward Enterline and Estella ("Stella") Christina Strohecker Enterline. He was known to family and friends as "Pat," and was born on 29 December, 1895 in Lavelle, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.

Bright was educated at the Lavelle School, which was located next door to the family's home. Thomas Enterline, his father (who was often referred to as T.E. Enterline in the media of the time), operated the family's general store from a section of their home.

Pat attended the Lavelle School with his cousins, Timothy P. Snyder and Nona M. Snyder, the two oldest children of John Hartranft Snyder. John H. Snyder was the husband of Minnie Rebecca Strohecker, Pat's aunt. (Pat's mother Stella was Minnie's sister.)

Pat worked for his father as a clerk at the family store before enlisting in the U.S. Army at Ashland, Schuylkill County on 24 June 1918. He served during World War I with a Water Tank Train as a member of the U.S. Army's 301st, Company F, and was Honorably Discharged at Camp Dix, New Jersey on 24 July 1919. Family history indicates that he was injured in a mustard gas attack during the war.

After he returned from the war, he again worked for his father. Upon his father's untimely death in 1928 Pat and his mother ran the family store.

Known as a kind and gentle soul, Pat took care of his mother, Stella, during her terrible suffering from cancer later in her life. Pat continued to operate the general store after his mother's death in 1956.

Children of Pat's cousin, Willard E. Snyder (the youngest son of John Hartranft Snyder), remember visiting this store when they were young and tell stories of the store's penny candy counter and soda fountain.

Pat passed away in Lavelle in 1964. He was interred on 12 October 1964 in Citizens Cemetery in Lavelle with his parents, Thomas Edward Enterline and Estella ("Stella") Christina Strohecker Enterline, and his brother, George S. Enterline, who died in infancy in 1895.

Their graves are located just above those of Pat's aunt, Minnie Strohecker Snyder (the sister of Pat's mother), and Minnie's husband, John H. Snyder, and their son, Timothy P. Snyder.

Their seven graves are set off from others in this section of the cemetery by a low brick wall that borders their graves.
