Born December 2, 1874, South Weber, to William James and Eliza Ann Watts Belnap. Married Louisa May Parker, February 12, 1896, Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She died January 2, 1963.
Farmer, Former Road supervisor, Weber County, Member Hooper Farm Bureau. Active in LDS Church.
Survivors; Daughters, Mrs. Alex (Anna) Cottle; Mrs. Francis (Fawn) Simpson; Mrs. Charles (Elouise) Torghele, all of Hooper; Mrs. Leslie (Verna) Cottle, Nampa, Idaho; Mrs. Peter (Margaret) Olsen, Carteret, New Jersey; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry, Salt Lake City; Alonzo, Martinez, California; sisters, Mrs. E. Funeral Saturday, 1 p.m. Hooper Second LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Lindquist and Sons Mortuary, Ogden, Friday, 6-9 p.m., at ward chapel Saturday, 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Burial Hooper Cemetery.
