Nancy married Nathaniel Corthen Harris on 20 January 1833 in La Porte, Indiana.

"They were the parents of three children; Williams S., Emily J., who married R. H. Dow and resides in Kansas; and Ida [Harriet R.], who died in Hamilton county, [Iowa], in 1872, aged seventeen years. Nathaniel Harris, who married in Indiana in [1833], appears to have been seized by a restless spirit when he entered the country west of the Mississippi. He continued to farm in the Hoosier state until 1849, when he came to Muscatine county, Iowa, with his wife and children. Later he moved to a farm near Marion, Linn county, [Iowa] and in the fall of 1854 located in Carlton township, [Tama Co., Iowa]. There he entered one hundred and sixty acres of land, which he improved upon and upon which he resided for some years. After selling that property, he moved to Hamilton county, Iowa, where the family remained five years; then lived in [Clay Co.,] Kansas for three years, and spent the last year of his life in [Craig Co.,] Oklahoma, where he died in 1884." From: J. R. Caldwell, A History of Tama County, Iowa, Volume 2, Lewis Publishing Co., 1910.

They remained in Indiana until 1849 when they moved to Iowa.

They were enumerated at Montpelier, Muscatine Co., Iowa, in the 1850 US Census; at Carlton, Tama Co., Iowa in the 1856 Iowa State Census and the 1860 US Census; at Webster City, Hamilton Co., Iowa in the 1870 US Census; and at Oakland, Clay Co., Kansas in the 1880 US Census.

Nancy was enumerated at Lincoln, Cloud Co., Kansas in the 1885 Kansas State Census.
