Lawrence Elmer Engle was a son of Wm. Franklin Engle and Preston Izoria Watson Engle. His parents are buried at Conn Cem. He and his wife, Lillie Beatrice (Nason)children: Sarah Jane, Marion Florene, Carl William, Claude Dennis, Lawrence Wilburn, Louie Preston, Roy Cleveland(Pete), Bertha Aileen, Linda Joyce, Lonnie Watson, Bobby Ray, Glenda Faye, James Lincoln, and an infant dau died at birth with Lillie.
His siblings were Claude Watson, Verna (Collins), Joyce Mayo. Verna is buried at Cave Springs,Claude is buried at Oak Hill in Attalla, Joyce was a patient at the TB Sanatorium, and her burial place is at Conn, marked by the rocks next to her parents.
