Death of David Harber
David Harber, one of the old and respected citizens of Grape Grove township, died near Ovid on Wednesday, the 22nd day of July, 1896, at the advanced age of 85 years, from general debility, the result of old age.
He was a native of Nicholas county, Kentucky, but came to Missouri many years ago. He leaves a family of children all grown.
Funeral services were held and the body buried at the Wild Cemetery on the same day of his death.
One more of the old landmarks of Grape Grove township has been removed and a good man has been numbered among those who have crossed over to the other shore. Peace to his ashes.
