Christian Fred Theo David was born 1830 in Stralsund Prussia. He passed away May 10, 1902 on his homestead in Orient South Dakota.

Christian came to the United States with his daughter Caroline David and John David, Fred David,and William David. Christian David remained in Prussia with his mother.

David's all settled for a time in Decatur Illinois, Macon County. Christ David bought a homestead in Orient and later sold it to Carrie his daughter and her husband Herman.

Rev. Polack of Millard conducted the service and
he was burried on his homestead. Northeast quarter of Sec 116. N. of Range Seventy. Hand County.Several years later the Gross, Wells, and Fisher family placed a marker on his grave.

Christian is suvived by Carrie and her husband Herman Gross Of South Dakota, John and his wife Minnie (Beard) Fred and wife Frinconicka (Martin),and William David.

Christian loved to farm and was well known in Orient area.

Christian's wife remained in Guelszow Rmg Stralsund Prussia. Her name was Johana Christine Mary Bamberg.
