He was born March 13, 1912 at Kansas City, Missouri to Ernest M. and Grace M. Hilbert Adamson. He spent his childhood in Topeka, Kansas and graduated from high school in Garden City, Kansas. He received his accounting degree from Washburn College at Topeka. He moved to Grand Junction, Colorado in 1940. On April 5, 1942 he married Cecilia R. Braun at Grand Junction. She survives. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Adamson was a retired administrator for KREX-TV and former owner of KSTR radio. In 1964 he was president of the Grand Junction Kiwanis Club. He was an avid reader and he enjoyed fishing and playing bridge.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one sister, Electa M. Cope of Portland, Oregon.
Services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 2:00pm - 2:00pm on Tuesday at the mortuary.
