Married F. Paul Cowee 15 March 1866 in Adams Co., IL

Grand Island Daily Independent Thursday 2 Feb 1922
Mrs. Mary D. Cowee passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. J. Meth, 1821 West Charles St. at 1:45 a. m. Thursday, at the advanced age of 84 years. Her death resulted from injuries and shock received on Sunday last, when she slipped and fell on the ice in the Meth yard. Although not apparently severely injured, there being no broken bones, the subsequent shock sustained proved too much to withstand and death resulted at an early hour Thursday. Surviving her are five daughters and one son. Her husband preceded her in death about twelve years ago. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, from the First Baptist church, Rev. A. C. Hull officiating. Interment will take place in the Grand Island cemetery.
