He retired three years ago after being employed many years as a car repairman at Bethlehem Steel Corp.
Born in New Mahoning, he was a son of the late Calvin and Victoria (Stahler) Wehr.
He was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of St. Peter's Church, Mantzville.
Surviving with his widow, the former Esther Keiper, are two sisters, Helen, wife of George Henninger and Mamie, wife of Lordy Minnich, and a brother Edgar, all of Lehighton.
Servies will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the residence. Viewing will be tomorrow night until time of service.
