ST. CATHERINE, Iowa -- Janise Droeszler-Ambrosy, 68, of Glendale, Ariz., formerly of St. Catherine, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at home with family.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at St. Helen's Church, 5510 W. Cholla Ave., Glendale, where friends may call after 7:30 a.m. Friends also may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at Best Funeral Home, 9380 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria, Ariz.
Janise was born on Nov. 15, 1943, in Cascade, Iowa, daughter of Ralph and Imelda Droeszler. She married Donald Ambrosy on Oct. 12, 1963.
Surviving are her husband, Donald Ambrosy, of Glendale; a brother, Don (Grace) Droeszler, of Bernard, Iowa; sisters, Kay (Harlan) Doty, of Dubuque, Shirley (Darrell) Goetzinger, of Marion, Iowa, Helen (Merlin) Theisen, of La Motte, Iowa, Patsy (Al) Chamberlain, of Anamosa, Iowa, and Mary (Frank) Klaas, of Holmen, Wis.; sons, Lynn Ambrosy and Darren Ambrosy, both of Chicago, and Travis (Debbie) Ambrosy, of Peoria, Ariz.; grandchildren, Patrick, Rashon, Ryan and Morgan Ambrosy; and a great-grandson, RJ Ambrosy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Imelda Droezler, of Dickyville, Wis.; a son, Greg Ambrosy; and a sister, Lumae (Loris) Cavanaugh.
