LAMAR-Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Daniel Funeral Home for Dorma Aldyne Schorzman Bradley, 89, Lamar, who died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Barton County Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Donita and husband Earl Kidd, Chesterfield; a stepson, Michael Bradley and wife Michelle, Pretty Prairie, Kan.; two stepdaughters, Donna Sue Krug and husband Tim, Chattanooga, Tenn. and Mary Palmer, Daytona Beach, Fla.; three sisters, her twin Dorlyne Schorzman and husband Clarence, Sharron Chapman and husband Merdith and Shirlee Miller and husband Charles, all of Lamar; four grandchildren, Paul Turner, Eric Turner, Gregory Kidd and Brian Kidd; eight step-grandchildren, Sarah Bennicheck, Candice Holt, Nicholas Krup, William Bradley, Kimberly Wood, Quentin Bradley, Tara Peknik and Tami Bradley; six great-grandchildren, Michael Turner, Kale Turner, BreAnna Ware, Ashley Turner, Kara Turner, Megan Kidd, Henry Kidd and Charlie Kidd; several step-great-grandchildren and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlene Quarles Turner; two sons-in-law, Harold Quarles and Les Turner; her brothers, Glenn Dale and Glenn Eugene Shaul and a grandson, John O'Hern.
Mrs. Bradley was born Sept. 24, 1923, in St. Francis, Kan., one of the twin daughters of Glenn and Gladys (Fisher) Shaul. She and her husband moved to Lamar in 1947 and raised their two daughters. She had worked at Big Smith in Lamar for 26 years, and Safeway Cheese in Carthage for seven years. Following Emil's death, she remarried and lived in Eagle Rock, where she worked at the Cassville School District for seven years before retiring to Mission, Texas. Upon her second husband's death, she moved back to Lamar to be near family.
She married Emil Schorzman on Dec. 19, 1943, at St. Francis, Kan. He died Feb. 19, 1986. She married Seth Bradley on March 29, 1991. He died Dec. 5, 2012.
