George Lyman was a engineer on the Uinta Railway. that ran from Atchee,Colo. to Watson Utah, he was killed in a train crash. on this same line.
He was born 6 July 1884 in Fillmore, Millard, Utah
He died January 4, 1923 on Baxter Pass, Moffat,county, Colorado.
He married Dora Maggie Dennis 6 July 1910.

George Lyman was in two previous wrecks and nearly lost his life in both; one was 12 years ago last October, and the second one four years ago last September. He was left in a crippled condition, both times having suffered almost continually since the one four years ago.
The funeral was held in Grand Junction. Sunday, Jan. 7, under the auspices of the Elks lodge. He was a member of the local order, He was also a member of the local order of Locomotive Engineers.
He leaves a widow and two sons, Ira D. Lyman, Winslow, Ariz., and George J. Lyman, Clovis N.M. a mother, two sisters and two brothers, who were all present at the funeral. The body was laid at rest in the Orchard Mesa cemetery.
