Rose's mother, Assunta, was born either on or about 28 Oct 1852 or in or about Jan 1857 in Italy and died on 23 Oct 1915 in San Francisco. As a 19-year-old, Rose Irene married Joseph L. Bury on or shortly after 21 Oct 1904 in San Francisco (see San Francisco Call, vol. 96, no. 143, Oct. 21, 1904, p. 14, col. 2).
