Aurelio Arango, general manger of the Spanish Colonial Light Company, No. 44 Broadway, was taken suddenly ill yesterday morning on the downtown platform of the elevated station of Church and Rector streets. He was taken to Chambers Street Hospital where he died half an hour later. His death was due to heart disease. The body was removed to the house of Mr. Arango's sister at No. 49 East, Twenty-ninth street. Mr. Arango was a member of the New York and Spanish clubs and the Spanish-American Literary Society. He leaves a widow and three daughters.
