Retired Master Sergeant USAF Michael David Cochran, 57 of Powder Springs.

Funeral Services were held at the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs with Reverend Mike Woods officiating.

Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery with full military honors.

Mr. Cochran was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force and also served in the United States Navy where he served on the USS Corral Sea and USS Cleveland. He served many West Pac deployments, served in Desert Storm, Vietnam War and served in the 116 Tactical Fighter Wing. He was a member and greeter at the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs and was the Director of Transportation for the Marietta City Schools.

Mother and Step Father, Vera and Jerry Merrell of Acworth,
Father and Step Mother, Alver and Gladys Cochran of Mableton,
Sons, Staff Sgt. Michael (Jocelyn) Cochran II of Dallas, and Staff Sgt. Marcus Daniel (Erica) Cochran of Powder Springs,
Sisters, Carol Payne of West Virginia, Carla Briley of Kennesaw, and Leisa Cash of Dallas; Grandchild, Felicity Cochran,
Mother in law, Genie Torres of San Antonio.
