Memorial services for John Glen Fair of Newberg were held Monday in the Newberg Free Methodist Church with Pastor Roger Keller officiating. Private graveside services with vault interment were held in Valley View Memorial Park, Newberg.
Mr. Fair died April 18, 1991, in Emanuel Hospital, Portland, as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was 16.
He was born Feb. 8, 1975, in Newberg, the son of Greg and Hilda Fair. Hew grew up in the city and attended Edwards Grade School, Mabel Rush Grade School, Springbrook Middle School and Newberg High School.
He enjoyed sports and played soccer and baseball in high school. He also enjoyed bowling and fishing.
Survivors include his parents, Greg and Hilda Fair of Newberg; two brothers, Jeremy and Aaron Fair, both of Newberg; a sister, Amy Fair of Newberg; and his grandparents, Don and Lenora Fair and Art and Kitty Arney, all of Newberg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the John Fair Athletic Scholarship Fund in the U.S. National Bank at Newberg.
Arrangements were under the direction of Attrell's Newberg Chapel.
