Charles Eurich,61,passed away suddenly at his home, 1405 N 15th St., Friday afternoon. His death came as a shock to his family and all who knew him, because he was apparently in good health, and died suddenly while mowing the lawn at his home.
Born in Nieder-Monjou, Samara, Russia May 26, 1896, he came to this country while still quite young. He was an employee of the Lawson Co. in New Holstein.
In 1915 he was married to Sophie Bellar. She preceded him in death in 1934. His marriage to Mrs. Anna Deikar took place in 1937.
Mr. Eurich was a faithful member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church where he served as a vestryman the past three terms. He was a member of the Men's Club of the Church and also of the Volga Aid Society.
Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs LeRoy (Emily) Salber of Kohler, Mrs Donald (Elsie) Bartelt of Appleton, Mrs Roger(Eleanor) Speckmann of Sheboygan and 10 grandchildren. His parents and several sisters and brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Em. Malkow, Pastor of the Church will officiate at the services. Burial will take place on the family plot on the Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at Nickel's Funeral Home from 7 p.m. Sunday until 11 a.m. Tuesday, when the body will be removed to the Church and lie in state until the time of services.
