Mrs. Eutyhia Cynthia Demakeas, 67, 1401 West St., died at 8:20am Friday, July 9, 1965, in an Elgin Hospital after a long illness.Born Aug. 14, 1897 in Loggan, Greece, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nikolas Mandukos. Lived 50 years in Rockford, coming here from Greece. Married to Gust N. Demakeas in Chicago Sept 5, 1915. Memberof St. Constantine Greek Orthodox Church. Attended schools in Greece. Survivors include her husband, Gust; four sons, Nicholas, Moline, John, Toronto, Canada, Perry,Westminster,Calif.,and Leo,Los Angeles, Calif.;seven daughters,Mrs. Katherine Sterling,Denver,Colo.;Mrs.Georgia Ryan,Denver,Colo.,Mrs. Helen Gray,Seattle, Wash.,Mrs. Christina Lider (Linder correct spelling)Roseburg,Ore.,Mrs. Antonia Johnson,Rockford,Mrs. Frances Blanco,Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Agnes Blackmer,Reseda,Calif.; 18 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Antonia Liakopulos, Loggan, Greece.

Services at 2pm. Tuesday,July 13, 1965 in St. Constantine Greek Orthodox Church. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at Sunberg Funeral Homes, 215 N, 6th St. from 7pm to 8pm Monday July 11
