He was born Jan. 19, 1936, in Deerfield, son of the late Felix Edmund Gardner and Irene Pearl (Higgins) Wilson.

Bion grew up and lived most of his life in Deerfield. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1956. Bion formerly worked as a logger for Dubois and Avery Campbell. He was a truck driver for Don Wheeler and lastly employed as a painter at the Seabrook nuclear power plant. Bion had resided in Northwood for the past 15 years.

He served on the Deerfield Volunteer Fire Department for many years.

His hobbies included, hunting deer and fishing.

Bion was predeceased by his siblings, Bobby, Ronald, Earl and Juanita(actually spelled Wanetta.

He is survived by his wife, Flora (Hodgdon) Gardner of Northwood; daughter and son-in-law Stephanie and Jim Dunn of Hooksett; daughter Bobbi Barden of Gilford; three stepdaughters, Susan Wright and her husband, Ken Wright, Nancy Nadeau and Phyllis Archambault; stepsons Wayne and his wife, Stella Chase, Tim Chase and Dennis Croteau; two grandchildren, Mariah and Breanna; five step-grandchildren; two brothers, Junior Gardner, Richard Gardner; two sisters, Pearl Demyonavich and Beverly Shepard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
