Emzley, a farmer, and Allie spent their entire married life living in Van Buren County, Arkansas, until 1930 at which time they were living in Stratford, Oklahoma (Garvin County). They were renting a farm in Stratford. The household included: Ema C, age 63, born in Arkansas, married at age 26; Sam, wife, age 59, born in Arkansas, married at age 22; Chester, their son, age 19, born in Arkansas; Dewey, their son, age 24, born in Arkansas, married at age 24; and Emma, Dewey's wife, age 26, born in Oklahoma, married at age 26.
Emzley died December 8, 1943, in Lexington, Oklahoma (Cleveland County) and was buried there in the Lexington Cemetery. Allie died January 12, 1947, in Pulaski, Arkansas and was buried beside her husband.
