PASSING OF WM. BURNSIDE
William Burnside, long time resident of Albia, died at his home last week following an extended illness.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Saturday afternoon. Rev. Perdew officiating, and burial was in Oak View.
Among those present at the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thackeray, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stocker of Ottumwa, Mr. and Mrs. Hoskinson of Oskaloosa, Mrs. Mary Riley and daughter, Miss Elsie, and Mrs. Eva Wainwright of Des Moines, Ed Chidester of Omaha, Mrs. and Mrs. Conrod Chidester of Monona county, Mrs. and Mrs. Samuel Cooper of Melrose.
