Married Ethel Pinckney on 13 May 1923. Son Cpl. Charles L. Andrews, died near Chorwon, Korea on 16 July 1950, age 20.
OBITUARY -- Gloversville (NY) Leader Herald, Monday, June 27, 1966, pg. 21 -- Michael Nicholas (Andrianopoulos) Andrews Sr., 70, of 106 North Street, died at 4:20 yesterday morning at Littauer Hospital. Born July 15, 1895, at Zevgolatiou, Greece, he came to the United States in 1909 and had been a Gloversville resident since 1920. He was a Gold Star father. Mr. Andrews was a chef and was last employed by Helen's Luch. He attended the First Church of Christ Scientist, and was married in 1923 to Ethel Pinckney Andrews, by whom he is survived. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John Ambrosino and Mrs. Richard Boyd of Gloversville; two sons, Michael N. Andrews and Joseph A. Andrews of Gloversville; a brother, Charles Andrews of Fort Edward; a sister, Anna, in Greece; seven grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
