Martina Sue Allen, 52, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 in Columbus, OH. She was born in Columbus on January 9, 1964.
Martina is preceded in death by her mother Ramona Allen. She is survived by her son, Zachary "Boogies" Allen-Thierry; boyfriend, John Thierry Jr.; sister, Tammy Roberts; niece, Yolanda Allen; dear friend, Marjorie Thierry; and many loving friends and church family.
Martina enjoyed sunsets, nature walks and candlelight evenings with her Christian music. She loved helping her family and friends and was known for her intelligence and giving good advice. She was a confident, self-assured individual who enjoyed starting conversations and knew no strangers. She would be described as wise beyond her years, and had a classical quality about her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Family will receive friends on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 12 noon-1 p.m. at Eastwood Seventh-day Adventist Church, 6400 S. Sunbury Rd., Westerville, OH 43081 followed by a Funeral Service at 1 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Blendon Central Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eastwood Seventh-day Adventist Church, (see address above) mark as "Scholarship Fund". Memorial contributions will used to assist with Zach's tuition.
