Funeral services for Mrs Andrew Boehnlein, mother of Mrs Otto Jodar of this city, who died at 11:00PM Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs John Rabidou in Milwaukee, after an illness of two years, were held Wednesday.
Rites were conducted from the Erbe-Hoffman chapel at 9:00AM and from the Holy Rosary Church at 9:30AM with the Rev Alfred Pritzl officiating. Burial was in the St Mary's church cemetery in Chilton.
Born Feb 7, 1857, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Joseph Meyer, she lived with her parents at their Marytown family home until her marriage on April 13, 1881. The couple then made their home in Bakersville, in Wood County for several years and for the next 30 years lived on a farm in Brothertown in Calumet County. For a dozen years Mr and Mrs Boehnlein also lived in Chilton.
Following her husband's death in January 1925, Mrs Boehnlein made her home with her daughter, Mrs Otto Jodar of New Holstein and the the next six years with her other daughter in Milwaukee.
Survivors are two sons and three daughters; John of Milwaukee, Mrs Joseph Dreifuerst of St Cloud, Joseph of Brothertown, Mrs Otto Jodar and Mrs Rabidou. There are 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Mrs Boehnlein is the last of her family, three brothers and three sisters have preceded her in death.
