John Henry (or Hector) is the son of Isaac Conlee and Mary Kennedy. He is the husband of Hester 'Hessey' Hodson and the father of Elders Isaac Conlee, Alexander Conlee, Josiah Conlee, and Whitfield Conlee (all ordained Primitive Baptist ministers). His burial place is believed to be on what used to be his land in Ridge Prairie (Prairietown?). Buried under a Black Walnut tree with a Red Cedar stump sticking out of it. Some believe he died in 1816, but they may have that confused with his father. He purchased the land he is buried on in Sept 1816 and he doesn't show up in the 1820 census. Therefore, I put his death anywhere between 1816 and 1820.
