Carville L. Alexander, 93, life-long resident of Sam's Creek near New Windsor, died at his home today at 6:15 a.m. after an illness of several weeks. He was born in Frederick County and was the son of the late Andrew and Ida Izer Alexander. He was married twice. His first wife was the late Edith Kiler Alexander and second wife was the late Maude Lee Strine Alexander. Surviving are two sons, Clifford B. Alexander of Mt. Airy and Talbot A. Alexander, Westminster; three daughters, Mrs. Mary C. Schneider, Mrs. Helen M. Eyler and Mrs. Bessie L. Schneider, all of New Windsor; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one brother, Roy A. Alexander, of Gettysburg. He was a member of Edgewood Church of the Brethren. He operated Alexander's Mill at Sam's Creek for 40 years and retired 13 years ago.
